- Sound reputation, integrity and similar business values as Gold's Gym Franchising International.
- Strong business acumen with an ability to fully develop the Gold's Gym brand in the chosen market.
- Working knowledge of the market proposed for development.
- A willingness to devote full-time best efforts to the day-to-day operations of a fitness facility.
- A willingness to complete a comprehensive training program and become proficient in all aspects of operating a Gold's Gym facility.
- A complete understanding of the Gold's Gym business model.

EXPLANATORY NOTES
- Real Estate and Improvements. Your land acquisition costs will vary depending upon a multitude of factors including whether the property is purchased or leased, the size and location of the property and the availability of financing on commercially reasonable terms. The building itself must be at least 7,500 square feet. Stores may be located in leased properties such as strip centers and other such facilities.
The Gold's Gym facility location should be one accessible to vehicular traffic. In addition, site improvement costs may vary based on soil and environmental conditions, availability of utilities to the site, the topography of the site, the size of the parcel, local zoning and other building requirements.
- Building plans, specifications and standards for the construction of a Gold's Gym facility are available to all Gold's Gym Franchises
